Detail of Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure timely processing and accuracy of Billing
Perform Revenue and Collections variance analyses and Trial Balance reviews
Maintain knowledge of billing procedures, processing of billing claims, rates
Cash Plan and Cash Flow management
Track and analyze Revenue results against budget including units utilization
Participate in Medicaid Entitlement and Billing Incident Review Committees
Perform Payroll account Bank reconciliations
Maintain journal entry files, various schedules and reconciliations
Work with department managers to address questions that arise and assist in resolving issues
Participate in the month end closing process with emphasis on Journal Entries posing and Trial Balance account reconciliations
Assist in preparation for yearly audit
Assist in review billing processes and recommend changes as needed
Maintain and monitor all aspects of the Billing and Accounts Receivable processes
Perform and assist in special projects assigned by supervisor

Regular attendance is mandatory. Must be physically able to provide necessary first aid/emergency medical treatment, provide physical support to individuals such as, assisting with personal needs, etc., and to physically evacuate individuals from living arrangements in case of fire/natural disaster. Must be able to transport individuals in their community. Must be able to use computer software to complete essential functions listed above. Experience and Education Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required. One year experience in a human service field preferred. Some college coursework in human services is preferred. Ability to achieve SCIP-R (Promote), CPR/First Aid/Medication Certification and Valid NYS License required.
This is a full time position providing linkage to the individuals and their families. It ensures access to needed services such as entitlements, social, clinical, vocational, recreational and other support services. We have openings at our Pride Center in Farmingdale, as well as in New York City.

Job Summary: Provide protective oversight to individuals receiving services, support the development of independent living skills and promote choice while being responsible for the overall implementation of each individual’s habilitation plan in all areas of daily living.
Responsibilities:
Must attend training sessions to increase knowledge and skills;
Participate in case conferences or staff meetings;
Counsel individuals, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes;
Complete and maintain accurate records or reports regarding the individuals' histories and progress, services provided, or other required information;
Serve as an advocate both internally and while out in the community; coordinate counseling efforts with clinical/management professionals or other health professionals, such as doctors, nurses, or social workers;

Human First is currently seeking applicants for a Per Diem Waiver Service Provider (all levels) for their Bridges to Health Program.
Bridges to Health is a high quality home-based clinical support and case management program that provides services to children and youth diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance developmental disability or medical fragility, and their caregivers, with an emphasis on family stability and educational success. Service recipients either are or have been in foster care or in the OCFS juvenile justice system. The program has three arms, Health Care Integration (HCI) which provides home and community base management, Waiver Service Provision (WSP) which provides hand-on in-home support services, and quality management which oversees the quality and the utilization aspects of the program. B2H is a Medicaid waiver program.
Qualifications
Level One:
High School Diploma; Associate’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or other related field. Two years of experience working with children and families, preferably children with special needs.
Level Two:
Associate’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or other related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred for crisis respite. Two years of related experience; three or more years preferred.
Level Three:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or other related field. Master’s degree preferred for Intensive In-Home Support. Description
Interns will work under the supervision of a senior psychologist or clinician in the following areas: crisis services and group counseling, developmental and outreach programming, vocational/behavioral assessment and behavioral program development. The intern will consult with staff providing direct support to individuals receiving services in matters involving challenging behaviors and family crisis, as well as assist direct care staff in carrying out individualized service plans to achieve valued outcomes. While working with their supervisor, interns will evaluate individuals and design and implement behavioral plans, as well as select and administer program plans.
Qualified interns must be enrolled in an ABA, Psychology or Community Health program and should have skills to model counselor/consumer interaction and the ability to role-play, as needed. An intern should have the ability to effectively analyze, synthesize, interpret, communicate, and present data from a variety of sources in appropriate and understandable language to both lay persons and professionals, both verbally and in writing. Thet psychology intern should be willing to identify areas of deficiency and seek appropriate professional growth experiences for self-improvement.
